In this resort there are 12 different cottages, some that contain just one bedroom for that romantic getaway, studios or deluxe villas for a larger space that you may want for your family. Each cottage is designed specially to resemble the 19th century Georgian architecture. Before arriving to your place we setup in your cottage a scented candle to set the mood of being away from home, to make you realize that you are somewhere special whether it be with your significant other or family. This 5 star resort is a place to be when you don’t necessarily want to be staying at a resort that is located right on the beach.

Some of my favorite cottages when staying at the Luxury Strawberry Hill Resort located in Irish Town, Jamaica is the Birdshell, Highgate, Tree and the Timbuks. The Birdshell has lots of space with a Jacuzzi for those times you want to really relax, a private space for just relaxing and eating outside. The view here shows some of the city lights below, and views of the ocean and although you may be far the view you receive being on this five star resort is magnificent. Highgate is another one of my favorites as it is bigger than Birdshell and has 2 bedrooms instead of one. The master bedroom has large walk in closets and bathrooms that can lead to your balcony for those romantic nights with views overlooking the mountains. The studios are more of a cozy place to stay at, where everything: kitchen, bathroom, bedroom are all located since it is a studio. Staying at the studio at this boutique Strawberry Hill Resort still has a beautiful view that is very pleasing to look at especially at night when you can see all the city lights below you. There are 4 types of Timbuks but only 1 of them has a view of the mountains while the rest overview the city. I personally would rather stay at a Timbuk than staying in a studio but only if you would like your space.
